Out of Elegant depicts the story of 7 creatures from another distant land or planet fighting for survival in unfamiliar terrain. As dancers enter from outer space, they will take the audience to embark on a 55-minute journey to catch a glimpse of this unique world. Are they human? Are they aliens? Could it be a reference to our world we as humans are also creating - are we human or is this digitalized age taking us out of Earth?

Choreographer Mario Bermudez Gil tries to unleash the boundless imagination of each dancer, and his goal is to create a unique movement language specific to this piece that allows the dancers to explore their bodies and physicality freely, and to make them feel the digital sensation within the human body. The core of this work is the movement language, therefore he wants the audience to go on a journey with the dancers and to experience the visceral sensations in their body as they watch the dancers move. In turn, they can become immersed in the whimsical fantasy and ambiance on the stage, culminating in Out of Elegant perspectives and values of life.
